XX: Mother Superior
It’s 2 days late to greet “Happy Mothers’ Day” today, but I don’t care. Better late than never, I believe.
Yes, it’s that time of the year again wherein we pay tribute to our families’ enduring, ever-loving “light”. And, to be honest, I don’t really greet people straight ahead no matter what’s the occasion. I think haven’t greet her face-to-face for the past 2 years.
So, the fact that me and my siblings made Mother cry inside a public mall courtesy of some lovely flowers is one breath of fresh air. I really don’t get to spend time with her and the rest of the family ever since I laced my boots on college and expanding my social circle, but I don’t want to give her the impression that I’m ignoring her influence in my life and that unconditional love she gives. She is one wonderful Mother I’ve very proud of and I really cherish.
Happy Mothers’ Day, Mother. I love you.
